Frequently asked questions
Answers about visits, plans, what Monika can do, and clear service boundaries.
Is this medical care?
No. Šalia Artimui services are not medical care. They are regular visits, conversation, companionship, and everyday practical support.
Who will visit my loved one?
Monika will visit. She works independently and intentionally supports a limited number of families so the relationship stays personal.
Will the same person come every time?
Yes. This is one of the most important parts of the service: your loved one is visited by the same familiar person - Monika.
What can Monika do during a visit?
We can agree conversation, time together, a walk, shopping support, small everyday errands, phone or internet help, or accompaniment to a pre-agreed place.
Can I book only one visit?
Yes. A one-time visit costs €65 and lasts up to 1.5 hours. It is a convenient first step if you are not sure about a plan yet.
Do I have to choose a monthly plan?
No. You can start with a one-time visit. If regularity feels useful, you can later choose one of the monthly plans.
How long is one visit?
One visit lasts up to 1.5 hours. The Peace of mind plan also includes 2 additional hours per month for a longer agreed activity.
Can a visit be used for accompaniment to a healthcare institution?
Yes, if agreed in advance and it fits within the visit time. This accompaniment is not a medical service - Monika is simply present and helps practically.
Will I receive an update after the visit?
If you wish, Monika can briefly write how the visit went. This is not a health report, but general human communication.
What area do you serve?
The areas I visit regularly or by separate agreement are shown on the homepage map. If you are not sure about a specific address, message Monika.
What if my loved one needs medical help?
In that case, please contact healthcare professionals or emergency services. Šalia Artimui does not provide medical procedures, treatment, or health assessment.
How do we start?
Message or call Monika. First you will briefly discuss the situation, location, your loved one's needs, and whether a one-time visit or monthly plan fits best.
